Nanologue networkThe Nanologue project has built up an extensive network for its dissemination and outreach activities. Project participants have attended a series of international conferences and engaged in cooperations with various partner projects. Some attendances and co-operations under the Nanologue project are listed below. Corporate Social Responsibility and NanotechVolker Türk gave a presentation on the linkages between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the assessment and communication on ethical, environmental and social aspects of Nanotechnologies at the European Nanotechnology Trade Alliances meeting on March 14th 2007 in Brussels.

Workshop: EASST 2006Hans Kastenholz presented findings from the Nanologue project in the 2006 conference of the European Association for the study of Science and Technology (EASST) in Lausanne the 23rd-26th August. Societal aspects and their consideration in the advancement of a new technology” at the “New Global Regulatory Frontiers” conference, 17-18 July 2006, Monash University, Melbourne. Workshop: Material Design and System AnalysisClaudia Kaiser gave a presentation “Sustainability assessment for new technologies: Social aspects in early innovation phases” at the International Workshop for „Material Design and System Analysis – Integration of Economic and Environmental Aspects into the Development Phase”, 16-18 May 2006, Research Center Karlsruhe, Germany. She presented findings from the Nanologue and BioBeN project. Workshop: Nano & the EnvironmentNanoforum and the Institute for Environment and Sustainability, JRC Ispra organized a workshop in March 2006 to debate the potential positive and negative impacts of nanotechnology on the environment and to submit a final report to the European Commission. Networking: NanoDialogue Scientific Advisory BoardVolker Türk, project coordinator of Nanologue project, became member of NanoDialogue Scientific Advisory Board. NanoDialogue aims at 'Enhancing dialogue on Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences in society at European level'. The project will develop a common communication strategy, produce exhibition modules and a website with interactive components.Public exhibitions and events will be organised in science centres and museums in eight countries.
