Nanologue's second project phase aimed at establishing a deeper understanding on the societal benefits and risks of NT-applications in the view of civil society representatives and researchers. Based on expert interviews and workshops, the study summarizes opinions on ethical, legal and social impacts of NT applications in the fields of medical diagnosis, food packaging, and energy supply and storage. It provides an overview of the most relevant issues, discusses current demands for action, and concludes with recommendations for a dialogue on nanotechnologies.
